1 9-inch bottom pie crust (Deya’s Pie Pastry)
1/2 cup Deya’s Gluten-Free Cake Flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup firmly packed dark-brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 325ºF.
Make a crust of your choice. We recommend Deya’s Pie Pastry.
While the pie crust dough is chilling, prepare filling.
Beat eggs in a large bowl.
Add Deya’s Gluten-Free Cake flour and sugars. Mix well.
Add butter to flour mixture and stir.
Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Pour mixture into prepared pie pastry.
Bake for 1 hour, or until center is firm.
Let the pie cool on a baking rack. Transfer to platter, cut into wedges, and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
