Cream Cheese Icing

Recipe Yields:
Icing for one 9-inch layer cake

This cream cheese icing is smooth and delicious. It is a perfect match for the Carrot Cake!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large bowl, cream together cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer.
  2. Add vanilla and mix.
  3. Beat in sugar.
