- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- Melt butter and chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler.
- Stir in milk.
- Add vanilla.
- Stir in sugar.
- Chill mixture for 45 minutes, and then beat with an electric mixer.
- Chill mixture for 15 minutes, and beat with an electric mixer again.
- Continue the last step 4 or 5 more times until icing is thick enough to spread.
