1 dozen medium sized popovers
One of my favorite brunch spots on the Upper West Side in New York is Popover Café. Unfortunately, they don’t make gluten-free popovers (yet). But now you can enjoy this special treat at home! These couldn’t be easier to make and are sure to impress.
1 cup Deya’s Gluten-Free Cake Flour
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Put the popover pan in the oven and then preheat to 425ºF.
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
Carefully remove popover pan from the oven, grease popover pan.
Pour batter into pan, filling each cup a little less than half full.
Bake for 25-30 minutes depending on size of popover pan.
Do not open the oven until baking is complete or popovers will not rise.
